Did you know that your success is tied to the appearance of your home and office? Feng Shui uses energy forces to harmonize individuals with their environment. Your surroundings, the objects, and even the colors you choose can directly affect how much wealth and positive energy you attract.
What is Success?
We all want to be successful. Success means something different to each of us. Success in life can mean having the career you want, a happy, healthy family, being wealthy and famous, or even something simple like the happiness that comes from doing what you want when you want.
Many of us would love to be wealthy. Wealth can mean different things to different people. Lots of money, many friends who support you, a family that loves you and is always there for you. All of these can be considered wealth, abundance and/or prosperity.
Your Environment Has a Profound Effect
What you may not know, is that where you live and spend a majority of your time can have a profound effect on your success and achieving what you want out of life. What I mean by this is the look, the feel, and the energy of the places where you spend your work and your personal time make a difference to your health, wealth, and your mind-set. Because of this, you can make changes that will draw positive energy into your home, your office, and your life.
You can direct what energy you focus on and create an environment that will attract the energy you choose. Isn’t that one of the best things you’ve ever heard? You have control over whether or not your life experience is positive or negative. Filled with meaning or empty. You choose.
This might sound a little “out there”, but I personally have been on a journey of changing my own mindset from one where my first thoughts about anything and everything were negative and focused on the worst that could happen to a mindset where I focus on positivity and gratitude.
Does this mean that bad things don’t, or won’t, happen? No, but as my reactions, actions, and inward focus change to be more positive, my mindset has changed as well. No longer do I want to worry about what might happen but I want to focus on the positive things that are coming my way.
Making changes to your home and office that support the areas where you want positive change to happen makes that mindset easier to maintain on a daily basis. Clearing the actual clutter in your home mirrors the clearing of the negative clutter that crowds your mind and keeps you stuck. These changes leave an opening for positivity and personal growth to flow in to your life.
My goal is to give you the tools to make the physical changes to your environment, whether at work or at home, that will create a pleasant and meaningful place to you. The positive shift that will draw the positive, successful energy out there to your home, to you, and to your family.
